Flower Bulb Day is coming to America! On March 7, 2020 a colorful display of more than 100,000 tulips will cover Union Square in San Francisco. And you are invited to visit the square and pick your own bunch of tulips.

These tulips, are grown in America, but the flower bulbs originate from Europe. European traders export flower bulbs to more than 100 countries all over the world. And America is by far the biggest export market for tulip bulbs: half billion of them every year. Besides, the companies also export many other types of flower bulbs to America, such as lilies, hyacinths, daffodils, dahlia’s and gladioli.
