US Grown

The tulips are grown in America, but the flower bulbs originate from Europe. European traders export flower bulbs to more than 100 countries all over the world. And America is by far the biggest export market for export of tulip bulbs: half billion of them every year. Besides, European companies also export many other types of flower bulbs to America, such as lilies, hyacinths, daffodils, dahlia’s and gladioli.

Tulip bulbs are sold to consumers and municipalities and when planted in Autumn they create colorful gardens and public areas during Springtime!  Moreover, hundreds of millions of tulip bulbs are supplied to professional growers in America plant them in their greenhouses for the production of the famous tulip flowers. So, in San Francisco you can pick a fresh bunch of tulips, produced from European flower bulbs. Don’t miss it and come to Union Square on March 4!
